Draft Program and Bubble Diagram

David,
Nice work. I see that you have been tweaking the program since last night by your bubble diagram sketch. I think Eddie raised some great points to us and I am struggling with them. I understand about cutting back for green design but I am really struggling with this in the living quarters area of the program. I see you have switched your rooms around. I know that I was reluctant to go home in the middle of the night of fear of bothering my roommate and that is one of the reasons I am proposing individual rooms. I know others who felt the same way. I will have to investigate this some more. Maybe in order for us to go green we have to let go of things we have grown accustomed to. I mean, we are attempting to make other changes in our life styles in order to reduce our carbon foot print. Are you struggling with this at all?

David,

I think you have a very good understanding of size and organization for your program. I see the changes for individual rooms and think that is just fine. One big room takes up almost as much space as a single room. There are various ways to be green and it seems everyone is at least creating rooms for individuals, if we wanted to go very green, why not just two big rooms with bunks throughout?
